Logistic

The best equipment, regardless of brand, is that which most effectively meets my specific personal requirements.

Five Pillars of Walking Logistics

Right equipment for all conditions,
Self-sufficiency,
Sustaining energy for the next day,
Sustainable resupply
Sustaining contact

Five Key Aspects

My logistics model includes five key aspects.

First Key

The aim is to use the right equipment to be fully prepared for any situation and its potential consequences..

Second Key

The goal is to be fully self-sufficient—requiring no external support except in emergencies—by carrying all necessary materials in the hiking cart.

Third Key

The goal is to establish a consistent and sustainable resupply flow by applying the correct supply method. In rural and urban areas, regional purchasing will be used; in remote regions, designated supply points will be utilised. Re-supply is planned every five days, with a minimum two-day reserve stored in the garden cart at all times.

Fourth Key

The aim is to ensure physical recovery and readiness for the next day by applying the appropriate accommodation strategy. This involves primarily using tent camping, with scheduled use of regional accommodation facilities every 5 to 7 days, depending on local conditions.

Fifth Key

A continuous and responsive first aid and communication system will be maintained 24/7. This includes integration with private and regional first aid services, the walk coordination centre, and the national emergency system via a dedicated monitoring and alert system.

In the event of red-coded emergencies—such as life-threatening wildlife attacks, poisoning, or criminal incidents—emergency services will be contacted directly.
For orange-coded emergencies—such as illness or injury—regional emergency units will be notified and necessary interventions will be initiated.
In yellow-coded situations, involving minor issues requiring self-treatment, personal first aid supplies and medications will be used.
